RE: Jerry Banfield sold his witness account and is now producing

in #witness6 years ago

My buddy told me a long time ago that Jerry worked for a company at one time and had access to the companies money. He used it to invest in the crypto space and apparently he lost the companies money. I couldn't verify if this is true or not.

@pwny
Apparently this "Jerry Banfield" is not the most popular guy on the block anymore, but maybe we should stick to firsthand info? (makes us who are "pro-steemit" look like we have the "moral high ground" etc etc)... =)

Yeah I do not know him personally. He has since given his account away and now someone else is running it for him which is strange. I'm not trying to do a deep dive on him just dropping my 2 cents.

Well, lets hope things don't get any worse.

I sometimes thought this Jerry Banfield looked a bit like an advanced cgi computer animation or something, and his "bidding-bot" was not always very profitable...

Other then that I know nothing about the guy, I think it was in one of his videos on youtube (amongst other random videos and blogs) it was at least one of the first times I heard about steem/steemit and how you could mine crypto by blogging here (from Jerry Banfield... But I could remember wrong, it happens)...

Some of the comments on this post say jrswab (who took over the account) is a good guy. I dont use bid bots anymore. Only a curation trail. If I was going to use a bid bot I would use @crypto&custard or steemsmart.

Okay, yeah I saw that, just checking the video where Jerry Banfield is concluding how much money he made on steemit, he is not really slandering steemit or anything so far in the video, he is just saying he is grateful, but is now leaving, etc etc, he looks like someone who has gotten sick of a job and is leaving because he is fed up... But I have to watch the whole video... Okay, now he is kind of being openly critical, but its in his right, he just dosen't like crypto anymore...

About bidding bots:
I tried sneaky-ninja on my last post and got a result that probably will lead to a decent ROI, but other then that there is not that many bots that have worked very well, (unfortunately delivered a very low ROI or a negative result)...
