Dumb question time.....are most of the witnesses running remote, rented servers ? I had thought you all had racks at home ? and sorry to see the currency there turning to shit. Im English, we have also had a lousy run since the brexit vote :-(
Yes, most of the servers are rented. Also, most of the witnesses use @privex as a server provider.
Having the server at your home is possible but it's not really feasible since covering uptime, disaster recovery, failovers at home is a tough job.
