I was deep in podcasting too. I dropped out for streams, which do, though, sometimes run pre-recorded material, including syndicated podcasts. so there's that too.

May I ask why you dropped out of podcasting?

Sure. I do shows in real time with live audiences. It's an amazing experience, and one I did for many years in my younger days with live event music djng as well as stints on commercial FM radio in the 1990s. All that said, analysts posit, people will buy brands of stream and just dial in, something like how they do with satellite radio in cars, they choose a channel and never leave it, even with 200 other channels on the dashboard lights to choose from. I like building real time live interactive stuff :D Video with audio just make it even more juicy

makes sense and live events are fun. I like the flexibility of a podcast because the way my life is structured - or not structured... Even radio shows I love I hardly ever listen to via radio - always podcasts. And I produce and host a podcast and will be on time for an interview, but the rest of the production can be done at any time.
Maybe it is also that I am very much into the spoken word and don't have music playing in the background. If you listen to a story, for example, you kind of want to start at the beginning - not somewhere in the middle.
Thanks.

Tried to listen. But the YouTube link is not working. :(

Strange, it's playing just fine here, went to youarehope.org and followed the link I sent you to test it end to end?

It's currently playing a John Wayne movie called McClintock

Here is the direct link, which the website link just redirects to:

I was talking about your show on msp radio. The YouTube link says it is unavailable and the other link takes me to the current show.
