As a steemian who want to see this platform continue to grow and flourish, we all have 30 votes to cast for any steemit witness of our choice and I will say this is the most important 30 votes you will ever cast on this platform.

Meet our steemit witness is a program put in place to know more about our steemit witness, there roles and obligations. We need them as much as they needs us. Our witness are the leaders on the platform and thus it is our paramount importance that we due our due diligence before casting our votes.

In this episode of this interview I would like to introduce you to Kings👑. Kings goes by the name @kingscrown on this platform and he has been on this platform two months after it was created. @kingscrown help to provide day to day informative, easy to read articles on cryptocurrency for steemians to read. He own a blog http://fuk.io where you can learn more about cryptos and here on steemit visiting his blog and reading his posts can build your knowledge cryptos so as to become a wiser cryptocurrency investor. He also help many coins /ICOs with promotion and above all he is a marketing guy.

@dhavey~Welcome to my interview and thanks for the honor 😃

  • Thanks for having me.

@dhavey~How did you first hear about steemit and what made you decide to join?

  • Actually from the very creator Dan, as i was part of Bitshares network of people. Loads of early STEEM adopters were there. I didnt join right away took me a month or two but i was here before payouts were even possible.

@dhavey~For steemians who don't know much about witnesses, can you give a layman explanation of what it is that witnesses do?

  • I would say the definition of word witness explains it well. They are witnesses - of what happens on the blockchain, they see it and confirm it - they keep things decentralized here.
Voting on witnesses is very important and it doesnt cost anything. Yet you need some skill and knowledge to properly chose them. I suggest all readers who trust me (and its 26 000+ of you!) to go to https://steemit.com/~witnesses scroll to the very bottom and put my nick as SET PROXY.
You can also choose a proxy that will vote for witnesses for you. This will reset your current witness selection.

  • This way i will be chosing witnesses on your behalf - i repeat, has nothing to do with money or post votes.

  • Just keep in mind that you need to set me as PROXY not vote for me as a witness. Due to this confusion some people vote for me while im not a witness.

@dhavey~What is one thing that most people don't know about you?

I speak to maybe 20 people from Steemit so almost nobody knows stuff about me if we look from this side. You could guess by content i vote on though but let me just say what i like not from crypto.
Ramen is my food of choice, then seafood with big love for lobsters. I love tv shows and movies i try to watch at least 1 of each daily. I like playing games but dont have much time for this anymore.

@dhavey~What is the biggest challenge you have ever faced since you joined steemit?

  • I post daily tips that often make people money or save people money - ie i help them not do stupid things like fall for scams or dead coins. So pretty much this research i do daily for myself and here i share it with people who give me love back.
When i took small time and didnt post for a week i got loads of pms asking if im okay or making sure i wont stop my daily tips. So i would say there was no challenges really. Maybe few haters here or there but if you have 26 000 people following you... you need to have a few who dont like what you are doing.

@dhavey~What is the biggest challenge the steemit community must overcome before it goes widespread?

  • For start there are registration problems for new people. Such basic thing.. Such important.

@dhavey~I know that you are always busy with your computer trying to help the community, apart from that, what are the other things you enjoy doing?

  • As ive replied earlier - films, shows and food. I like to travel but mostly i chose destinations based on new food i want to try. I also love craft beer!

@dhavey~Where do you see the value of steem in the next 4-5 years along with the platform?

  • 5 years in Crypto is like centuries also this cannot be based on technical analysis. So the answer depends on who will add STEEMs ecosystem to their platform ie SMTs. And that i cannot predict.

@dhavey~What's the big plans you are working on to make steemit great?

  • I was the first blogger to write about Steemit and i got here a bit of people who never had a single crypto. So im just evangelising it. Code wise guys like busy.org do great job.

@dhavey~Besides being heavily invested in steem, what other crypto currencies do you fancy?

  • I fancy literally loads but i assume you ask what i expect to raise nicely. From big ones i would bet at XMR, DASH, ZEC and EOS from smaller/less known ones ZIL, XZC, EXCL, ZRX, BAT and BNB.

@dhavey~As a big fan of cryptocurrency, what is the possible best way to keep tokens secure

  • Hardware wallet or a dedicated laptop just for having coins.

@dhavey~How do you know the best time to buy or sell a coin?

  • Buy low, sell high. You wont ever hit best moment but you can always try!

@dhavey~What will be the implications of government having a say in cryptocurrency world?

  • As long as they just keep it legal and not touch it too much its great. Sadly we live in the world where gov wants "to help us" or "save us" and does us harm in white gloves.

@dhavey~If you could only vote for one witness who would it be?

@dhavey~Why?

  • Because who has a better nickname to be voted on!

@dhavey~If you could have a privilege to change something about steemit, what would it be?

  • The color of logo.

@dhavey~It is so awesome finally having a chat with you @kingscrown
Thanks so much for creating time for meet our steemit witness. Have a wonderful day 🤝🏻

  • Thanks.

As steemit users we need to do everything in our power to choose witnesses that will represent the community well. Before voting make sure you do some research on the people you are voting for and be informed. Head over to https://steemit.com/~witnesses and click on some of the witnesses names, get to know them a bit better and do your part to make sure this community thrives.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

The yare witnesses - of what happends on the blockchain, they see it and confirm it - they keep things decentralized here.
It should be happens instead of happends.
