Witness clayop Update 2016/8/8 ~ 2016/8/21

Highlights

1. Steemit is growing in Korea in terms of users as well as contents
2. A news article about Steemit is published in a Korean major journal
3. Development of alternative GUI is ongoing

In the last two weeks, I mainly focused on helping to spread Steemit to Korea. There are many active members who are in favor of Steemit and the community is growing. As shown in Alexa, Korea is 8th place in terms of number of visitor, consisting of 2.5%.

Also I am supporting good Korean contents with upvoting, such as @woo7739 's Steemit Digest series and @ninzacode 's Steemit guides. (EDIT: I forgot @morning 's Sushi - acronym of Steem and Sisa(news))

As I mentioned in the previous update, a major Korean news journal posted an article about Steemit and about 9k people already read it.

The alternative GUI development is ongoing but due to a busy schedule of the developer I am in contact, it paces slowly. Fortunately, the outline will be out later this week. After this GUI project, I am considering to develop a secret sauce that will promote demands of Steem Power.

I am so sorry about such a slow pacing, but many things are under the water and I believe that it will explode in the near future.
