YouTube loves to censor videos, don't they? Well, WikiTruth has been in contact with several YouTube personalities who've shared just how shitty their current guidelines and enforcement are.

In today's edition of WikiTruth, let's explore why YouTube still holds all the power.

We've noticed a lot of users have stopped uploading videos from the site in protest of what they call the "sickening" practices of YouTube.

We have reached out to these users and they were all clear about what they considered a sickening abuse of the site. We also decided to highlight these videos ourselves to make sure their actions are as bad as we think they are.

In one video, one user claims to be the parent of a child who was the victim of child abuse, another claims to have made money on gambling sites without disclosing it or his family is involved.

The ability to censor and restrict users on the basis of personal, or political, views has become standard across the Internet. It's also increasingly difficult to defend those perspectives.

With technology, these views have become easier to control.

YouTube is allowed to block, control, push, and twist narratives that interest them and their financial gains.

In July, I watched the United Kingdom's House of Commons vote on the Cyberbullying Bill. A minority of Conservative Members of Parliament, including the then Tory leadership contender Michael Howard, voted to allow internet service providers (ISPs) to take action against sites that posted offensive content. The bill passed in a vote of 217–171. The bill was opposed, however, by two other independent MPs, both Labour, one of whom voted by secret ballot (though it was announced this was the result). The remaining Labour, Liberal, and Green Party Members of Parliament did not oppose the bill.

The internet has been warped into an echo-chamber of agenda's and fake "wokeness". Outside forces control what we're allowed to consume, and what we're allowed to say. No wonder many are afraid to participate as it is feared that they'll be "denied their right to speak out". The censorship of social media is just one example, but its impact is far reaching.
