Most cases so far have been among men who have sex with men who had recent sex with new or multiple partners. But there have been cases in other groups besides MSM.

Only 1 death so far out of 2,103 cases.

The presentation of monkeypox in this outbreak has been more variable than the classical presentation. Many cases are presenting with lesions around the genital area only or with lesions preceding fever, malaise, and other systemic symptoms.

The ACIP has unanimously approved the covid vaccines for children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years old. CDC Director Walensky has signed it off.

The pediatrician offices will now be the easiest way to get the vaccine for this age group. You should also find some pharmacies offering them now too.

In terms of the dose, it will be a triple dose course with the second shot after 3 weeks, and the third two months after that. If you're given the Moderna vaccine, then it is a two dose vaccine with the second after a month.
