We are in this together. Administrative segregation is misused and abused, and it is no way to treat Americans or human beings period.
Friday March 21 2014 William Brockbrader 14664-023 a man who is a national hero who went out of his way to take to chain of command the intel of imminent attacks on US soil pre 9/11 is now in solitary confinement in Seattle Washington. William Brockbrader who has since 1998 been the victim of retaliatory actions for his humane actions of diverting a tomahawk missile from rescue aid workers
William Brockbrader was cleared for Half way house by the good people at the FBOP Seatac facility and it seems there is a break down of Federal level and State level cooperation to insure Brockbrader was released to his family and home. On Friday March 21, 2014 William Brockbrader was placed in Solitary confinement and reasons are still unknown 7 days later.
Senator Durban & the Sub Comity called for the END of solitary confinement being used as a retaliatory measurement and is reviewing human rights violations of detainees in the USA system. On MARCH 25 2014 solitary confinement was addressed by Senator Durban, Rick Raemisch, and FBOP
and the negative effects, and human rights violation of solitary confinement , IT COSTS 3x as much Tax payer monies to hold Brockbrader is solitary confinement as it does in general population.
Brockbrader has not been given notice of why he is being now held in solitary.
I want to stress that the staff at Seatac has been above and beyond exsemplary and in no way do I feel this is a result of their lack of professional conduct. I feel Mr Fox has an amazing staff working in unified and effective team work for both their safety and the safety of the inmates.
Rather I want to stress that since 1998 William Brockbrader has repeatedly had retaliatory measures carried out against him for his human rights values since his Navy service and the good men and women of SEATAC are potentially being faced with this same level of retaliation for my husbands human rights activism and being that Senator Durban and the Sub community has called for an end to RETALIATORY solitary confinement on Monday March 25 2014 of this week.
The Center for Constitutional rights states that Solitary confinement is TORTURE
