Ruby Falls

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Yes unequivocally. The most sophisticated water treatment plants, from reverse osmosis to plastic water bottle manufacturers, cannot answer mysteries from Chattanooga. Has not traced the origin of Ruby Falls, nor can answer why she spits forth hydrogen peroxide or metamucil instead of sweet water.

But there is a truth: if we do not acknowledge the table between what we drink, what we hold so dear, and the ocean; our fresh water will be encroached, and nothing will keep the sea out. I am not talking bad language.

We do not know the difference between granite and molybdenum, and why onedoes separatesweet from bitter water. But truth be told, granite allows us to dig down building skyscrapers, while the other earth turns to quicksand swallowing whole structures. Let us learn from the oak which digs straight down, from the pine whose roots spread abroad becoming weeds by certain heights. And if we cannot figure out our water problem, let us at least acknowledge it.
