Wednesday Walk – Boca de Río

Today I want to show you my walk in a place called "Boca de Río" located on the island where I live: Isla de Margarita - Venezuela. When walking through this place I took some pictures of the sea that predominates in the place and some fishing boats.

Despite its small size and simplicity, it is a beautiful city separated by an aquatic opening in the middle of the fishing village. In this place is the university where I studied. The previous photo is of a dock located in it.

From this dock I took some photos to the sea. Marine biology students do many studies here. They also have some research boats. After taking some photos at the university, I walked along the pier and captured some boats from some fishermen.

In one of these boats was posing a beautiful pelican, I think I was waiting to be photographed so I did not wait.

As you can see, the boats abound because the main activity of the place is fishing. Behind the boat of the next photograph you can see in the distance a natural monument composed of two large hills very representative, called "Las Tetas de María Guevara." In this place you can also find our national park "Laguna de la Restinga" and a very famous marine museum.
