Wednesday Walk- Arbor DOWN
I would LOVE to see what your neighborhood looks like! What sights do you see if you go out your door on a short 5 minute walk? That is the challenge that @tattoodjay has set for us.
It has been so rainy and stormy the past few days that I am sharing a couple photos from sunnier days of a walk into my daughter's backyard. To get there you have to go through this lovely arbor that she built herself using all recycled material.
And then the wind storm came, blowing down trees and causing damage to houses in the neighborhood.
And this.
She sent me a message last night saying she rebuilt it yesterday, although she had to severely prune back the rose bush and the clematis to accomplish the task.

I'm glad she was able to fix it, but it was still too bad that it blew over in the first place. It's really gorgeous!
It probably won't be beautiful now this summer, but I bet it will be gorgeous again by next year!

No, She is a couple miles away, and the connecting road between us is a busy 4 lane highway with no walkways.

Shame about the damage from the storm but good to hear the fence was rebuilt
She was lucky that she did not have nearly as much damage as some of her neighbors did. Although she did have a basketball hoop in the front yard that was not there before the storm!😃
