Legitimacy has become an important buzzword for me. People should continue to ask questions, especially about legitimacy. Because they are the lynchpin.
If they don't, even democracies can become oligarchies.

Unfortunately, it has not become easier to keep track of things in this day and age. Probably even much more difficult.
