How much did the military spend yesterday? $281 million
Monday's big winner was Sentient Digital with a $49 million IT contract working on Sealift Command's computer systems. With so many various IT contracts awarded by the defense agencies, it's a wonder our government systems ever get hacked.
BTW, Raytheon's $13 million yesterday was a modification of an earlier contract that brings the total up to $35 million. Apparently that lowest bidder process doesn't always produce a figure that's set in stone.
