DID YOU THANK GOD FOR YOUR EYESIGHT?

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which had written on it "I am blind, please help." Few coins were dropped afterwards.

A man was passing by and took few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign the blind boy had written and turned it around with additional words to it. He put back the sign so that everyone walking by would see the new words written.

Soon, the hat began to fill up, more people were giving money to the blind boy. That Afternoon, the man who had changed the sign came around to see how things were going. The boy recognized his steps and asked

Were you the one who changed my signs this morning?

"Yes, I am".

What did you wrote?

" I only wrote the truth. I wrote what you meant in a different way."

What he wrote was: 'Today is a beautiful day but I can't see it'.

DO YOU THINK THE FIRST AND SECOND SIGN MEANT THE SAME?

Of course, both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind whilst the second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind.

Surprised that the second sign was practically much more effective?
