This Time Of The Year

This time here the sun's harsher
The dirt becomes dusts
And the dusts disgrace us as they fly up high above
Low, beneath and cuddle us with mild powdery molds
And men's shadows are thicker besides
The shades of trees with houses much more vivid
Like the darkness of the night in the morning
The fog blindfolds, sissies could bare and man would not look for glare
Man though clashes head with another like the clash of the Titans
And the night is coupled with coldly breeze from the West
But in the West unlike in Nigeria here
There,
The snow comes and compels
They put on thousands of thick raiments
Much more bills and lists for payments
And brooks are icy
Hands shake as they shake hands
Little knees build snow-crows
And as they rejoice in America
We rejoice in Nigeria in December
Their Christmas lights sparkle there
Our Xmas lights shimmer shimmer-shimmer here...⛄
