THE 21/90 RULE.

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

I remain my humble self @elaebi. Have you heard about the 21/90 rule? Well this us what it means:
It takes 21 days to create a habit.
A habit is an action performed repeatedly and automatically usually without awareness. It takes just 21 days to create a habit. It sounds funny right, yeah I think so too. Now for chain smokers and an alcoholic, they just don't make this an habit in a day, it takes 21 days to finally get addicted to that kind of life. While it seems very easy and in a matter of less a month to get obsessed with a particular habit, getting off of it isn't easier at all which brings us to the 90 days rule.

It takes 90 days to create a lifestyle.
A lifestyle means a style of living that reflects the attitudes and values of a person or group. Now changing from being a chain smoker to being no smoker takes a period of 3 months (90 days). A young person whose trying to leave the things of the world and be a born again Christian doesn't have it easy at all that's why so many backslide back to the world. Just as it takes a while to get back your good name, it also takes sometime to create a lifestyle. Your lifestyle tells about your personality. It means what you want people to think of you, it's more like a picture you're painting about your image. Alost everybody in my street sees my Bestie as gay even though he says otherwise. Its because he has created that habit before for himself and for people around him to see/notice which is why it is quite difficult for him to change the mindset of people towards him.

Our habits is what affect our image and reputation, bad habits that is. A good name is better than fame. If you want to maintain a lifestyle that paints your personality good then you should stay away from bad habits to even start with.
