MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Settle.
    The bandits came to claim the land out of intimidation and force and thought their tribe can settle in without a fight, but they were mistaken.

  2. Session.
    The session had just started for all the big wigs to decide and to nominate who will be the leading project manager for contractors.

  3. Sedentary.
    The work assigned to the new clerk is very sedentary due to his disability that limits his performance.

  4. Residence.
    He became a resident of the United States after staying in the country for 5 years continuously.

  5. Sedative.
    The doctor gives and administers a powerful sedative to his patient to calm him down who’s been erratic.

  6. Sediment.
    Tiny particles of rock sediment are found in the deep ocean along with many fish animals as well as seagrasses that lives underwater.

  1. Mediocrity is never a place I would SETTLE in.
  2. Today’s dance SESSION will begin in a few minutes.
  3. People’s SEDENTARY lifestyle may be one of the reasons why people’s life expectancy becomes shorter and shorter.
  4. Visit me at my RESIDENCE some other time.
  5. If you can avoid using SEDATIVES, please do so.

    I thought about settle for less words, but I feel it necessary to coming up with something engaging and interesting to read.

  2. Session:
    At the end of the smoke session, he lit up a cigarette, a short, skinny one that came from his home town of Cuba.

  3. Sedentary:
    Me and Charlie share a sedentary lifestyle.

  4. Residence:
    My residence in on the side of the hill in the dirt next to a screaming freeway.

  5. Sedative:
    The sleepy time tea I take works as a sedative.

  6. Sediment:
    He reach down, stuck his hand in the sediment, and pulled out the pipe, the murder weapon.
