I'd like to propose some quotes from this video as new taglines for Lester's Fixins (whose actual tagline is "Y'all get yer fixins!")
Sweet Corn Soda: "Tastes Way Better Than It Smells"
Sweet Corn Soda: "Oddly Corn-y Soda"
Sweet Corn Soda: "The Worst Soda I've Ever Tasted"
Should they wish to use one of these slogans, I will accept payment in the form of never having to drink another one of their sodas again.
Ironically, this soda was made from cane sugar as opposed to corn syrup. For anyone wanting to try their own Lester's Fixins soda (and who wouldn't after this?), I'd like to request that you let me know how the Ranch Dressing flavor tastes.
(Also, according to Wikipedia: "Sweet corn is the result of a naturally occurring recessive mutation in the genes which control conversion of sugar to starch inside the ENO of the corn kernel. Unlike field corn varieties, which are harvested when the kernels are dry and mature, sweet corn is picked when immature and prepared and eaten as a vegetable.")
