Exploring Iceland's Craft Beer Scene - Part 1 | Vlog 4
During the weekend, I and @agniese decided to pay Reykjavik another visit despite the gloomy, rainy weather, with the sole purpose of the trip being to explore the local brewing scene. We picked Bryggjan Brugghús as a starting point. The brewery is located in the city's harbor area, which is populated with many cafes and restaurants.

a have a liquor Store just 3min from my flat so a have startet my "test" going left to right in the canadina beer section,
whistler brewing co. wayside apricot wheat beer 4 glass bottels. and fuggles warlock "the last strawberry wheat beer sems like the Canadian relay like sweet beers. the apricot one was super good. different but good. am saving the
next one. a pay 18$ a like Ur vologing style.
the dark shoot from the pub was depressive weather feeling over it. beer is best in terrible weather and it exselent weather. not in normal weather a feel

Yeah, it was quite dark in the pub, and I was afraid that the videos will not come out very good. For some of the shots, I really had to bump the ISO on the camera.
By the way, I like drinking beer despite the weather conditions :)

How long have you been in Iceland now? Beer flights are a must for me when going somewhere new, a lot of times I just can't make up my mind on what I am in the mood for.
I was surprised when dtube started playing. I still haven't figured why some dtube videos play for me and others don't. Great job on this video.

Anyways, I am glad that you enjoyed the video! Almost 2 weeks now and that was my first beer flight :) I think I will do another one during the coming weekend.
Dtube still has bugs, and every once in a while, it just won't play some of the videos.

NO! Don't add length. I like to watch videos that are short and sweet. Long videos and I get impatient. This video had a nice 'rhythm' to it too :-)

That video was great, and the background music was really nice and chilled... Pity about the bar attendant and the beers, but at least the IPA was OK, very expensive too for such small glasses... That's nordic countries for you, very expensive for drinking..

I am not going back to this pub - the bartender was very rude and the beer was only so-so. For that price, you would expect something better.
I think the shot with the raindrops is the best one in the whole clip. I am glad that you liked it! It was actually Agniese's idea to take it from this angle. And by the way, it's not in slow motion :)

I know what you mean about time spent looking for music for your video. I spend that looking for the right quote for my posts. My husband takes even longer looking for the right photo for his stories. We are just carrying around a spirit of excellence is all .... 😇
Funny how one person can turn you off of a pub or store. I know what you mean. And the beer wasn't good either. Double bummer.

Good Video Dan, I'll be in Iceland in a couple of month so good to see there are few good craft beers to be had - I'm not surprised by the prices given the isolation of Iceland.

Wow, Dan! You are getting some crappy weather over there. Sorry the beer wasn't better, too. And ouch! $18 for a fleight and $9 for a glass of beer during happy hour?!
My parents came to visit me in Mankato last weekend, so I took them to the local brewery. $5 covered the tour, sampling (about a pint) and another pint of whatever you liked best.
Great video work, by the way. The slow motion raindrops were spectacular!

Thank you, Mark! Yes, the prices are outrageous - the cheapest beer you can get in a bar is about $6 and it tastes really bad :)
