Revolution in France

in #viva5 years ago

Why won't the corporate media talk about this?

That is a simple answer. The French are justified in their anger. I don't agree with the destruction being done there. However, when your government refuses to listen to you and continues to tax you into the poor house, what else can you do?

When governments ignore their people, it's only a matter of time until a revolution happens? My only question is, what to hell is wrong with us? We are overtaxed at every turn. A family can no longer have a parent or grandparent home for the kids to come home to after school. No. Those days are gone.

We now have families with adults working 2 or 3 part-time jobs each with maybe a teenager or two to work part-time. That is just to keep a roof over their heads and some kind of food on the table. It's stupid. We get taxed into the poor house and we just take it. There was a time when we would have been throwing tea in the harbor and screaming at the injustice.

Kids across this country will face homelessness at least four times in a school year. They may only eat twice a day Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday they may only eat once a day if there are charities in their area which offers community dinners. But we are okay with it as long as it's not our family.

Maybe that is why the majority of America won't riot. You see the government doesn't have to declare Martial Law because they knew the people will toll the line as long as they IPhone works. However, the rest of us continue to wake people up to what is going on and no one will listen as long as their phone works.

How did the French realize they were being screwed over? They put their phone done and realized it. They were going to be hit with yet another tax and said no.
