intro
what we think about everything we know of and not know of (opinions); the feelings we experience, project and imagine (emotions); why we gravitate towards different objects and subjects that appeal to us (preference); how we decide to solve the problems we face (reaction); define who we are up till that certain point as we evaluate ourselves.
human beings are constantly changing and evolution is taking place as each nanosecond ticks by. we adapt to our environment and we create environments that suit our lifestyles. rarely do we ever come to realization that everyday is a better day albeit what the public tries to depict. i agree with the fact that we are the ones who are contributing to all these environmental problems and such. but we are trying to solve these problems just like any other problem that we have to tackle unexpectedly and expectedly in our lives. truth is, human beings are organisms that will always strive to achieve a better result (most of the time, for the sake of convenience) despite the fact that we are the ones who have caused these problems in the first place.
in my opinion, we are all perfectionists who will never stop trying to make this world a better place for ourselves. it's an act of selfishness and vanity. simultaneously, it's also an engagement and collaboration of different minds, bodies and souls which often result in agreement and disagreement that trigger various feelings. our opinions, emotions, preference and reaction are coiled together like our dna strands. they're all interrelated.
let us proceed..
never rely on anything and cherish yourself as an individual.
when one falls head over heels for something (infatuation stage), one loses the big picture and is focused only on the subject.
it becomes an addiction, a sense of attachment.
one will feel miserable when it doesn't get the satisfaction and stimulation the subject provides.
one will slowly become a parasite that lives on its subject.. that's when one depends and relies on its subject and its subject only.
and eventually, when the subject disappoints or cuts off its relation with one, one will lose everything 'cause one has made the subject its everything.
we gotta take life easily and breezily and learn to NOT depend on anything or anyone. practice safe sex and stand up for ourselves.
'cause at the end of the day, the only one who will be there for us is ourselves.
so treat yourself right and indulge yourself responsibly.
if you love yourself, and cherish your own individuality, consequently, people will be attracted to you.
ever heard of the phrase, "true happiness comes from within?"
the ability to feel happy is not directly proportional to how much you possess or how well your life is going, but by how you feel and look at the world.
if you're happy with who you are, naturally, you will be happy.
fear should not be feared of and always keep an open mind.
the only thing that gets in your way from obtaining something that you really want is fear. for examples, fear of rejection, reality, even obesity.
I REPEAT, WE SHOULD NOT LET OUR FEARS KEEP US AT BAY FROM GETTING WHAT WE WANT.
we are all born to do something extraordinary in our lives.
we are all born to enjoy what the world has to offer.
we are all born to make this world a better place.
never let something or someone stop you from getting what you want.
believe in yourself, and conquer fear.
all of us were brought up in a society where rules, guidelines, beliefs and values have been set for us to live by.
but it doesn't mean we have to follow it.
always keep an open mind whenever someone tells you something even if he/she's some psycho. (as long as he/she doesn't actually exhibit any physical threat)
don't just hear. LISTEN. and nibble on the food for thought.
maybe, just maybe, he/she has a point. so consider altering the way you think.
there is no right or wrong, only in the eyes of the beholder, where true and false exist.
