AID VENEZUELA | Resumen de la semana “Summary of the week.”

Giving medicine to older adults:

This week we were finally able to deliver the medicines to Mrs. Ligia who has a delicate medical condition due to her constant blood clotting and requires lifelong treatment to keep her blood liquid and circulating.

Ligia represents one of the many cases of older adults who, due to the lack of supplies and the high cost of products, are not able to obtain the medication in a constant manner.

How project we want to continue supporting in this type of case and we make of utmost importance your support for such an end. Thank you!

First approach in our nutritional screening!

Today was a busy day. We went again to the community of Pitahaya, where we performed a nutritional screening of a population of more than 50 people, including older adults and children.

During the activity was always present the spirit of a team made up of volunteers, medical specialists as well as members of various foundations that supported us in this work.

Thanks to all of you for trusting us and especially to @funditionio for being the most reliable decentralized crowdfunding platform in the world. This survey represents the first of many to be carried out on behalf of our Venezuelan people.

Food for life:

The nutritional screening represents only a previous step before this, which is our main program of support to the communities.

Thanks to this work we will be able to have an average of people to support in our next campaign so that we can divide the resources in 3 communities for a period of 2 months.

Also as part of giving continuity to this aspect, today in conjunction with our nutritional approach we gave a lunch to the people present so that we can stay close to the community in terms of food work.

The happy faces of children and adults was the best gift we could receive from them.

Mother there is only one:

Another of the cases treated this week was that of two women who recently began as mothers, they had to be placed in observations and various medical processes since both had a delicate state of health after childbirth.

They were given various resources to support them in their process.

Dando medicina a adultos mayores:

Esta semana pudimos finalmente entregar las medicinas a la señora Ligia quien posee un cuadro médico delicado debido a su coagulación sanguínea constante y requiere un tratamiento de por vida para mantener su sangre liquida y circulando.

Ligia representa uno de tantos casos de adultos mayores que motivado al desabastecimiento y al alto costo de productos no es capaz de obtener el medicamento de una forma constante.

Cómo proyecto queremos seguir apoyando en este tipo de caso y hacemos de suma importancia su apoyo para tal fin. ¡Gracias!

¡Primer abordaje en nuestro despistaje nutricional!

El día de hoy fue un día de mucho trabajo. Fuimos nuevamente a la comunidad de Pitahaya en donde realizamos un despistaje nutricional a una población mayor a 50 personas entre adultos mayores y niños.

Durante la actividad estuvo presente siempre el ánimo de un equipo conformado por voluntarios, médicos especialistas así como miembros de diversas fundaciones que nos apoyaron en esta labor.

Gracias a todos ustedes por confiar en nosotros y en especial a @funditionio por ser la plataforma de crowdfunding descentralizada más confiable del mundo. Este despistaje representa el primero de muchos a realizarse en pro de nuestro pueblo venezolano.

Pronto estaremos brindando un reporte detallado de la actividad ¡No sé lo pierdan!

Food for life:

El despistaje nutricional representa tan solo un paso previo ante éste que es nuestro programa principal de apoyo a las comunidades.

Gracias a esta labor podremos tener un promedio de personas a apoyar en nuestra próxima campaña de manera que podamos dividir los recursos en 3 comunidades por un periodo de 2 meses.

Así también como parte de darle continuidad a este aspecto, el día de hoy en conjunto con nuestro abordaje nutricional dimos un almuerzo a las personas presentes para así poder mantenernos cerca de la comunidad en cuanto a la labor alimenticia.

Los rostros de felicidad de niños y adultos fue el mejor regalo que pudimos recibir de su parte.

Otro de los casos atendidos esta semana fue el de dos mujeres que recientemente iniciaron como madres, ellas tuvieron que ser colocadas en observaciones y diversos procesos médicos ya que ambas poseían un estado de salud delicado tras del parto.

A ellas se les hizo entrega de diversos recursos para apoyarles en su proceso.
