If the abuse was too much and Pierre remained in the same pattern she was justified in leaving him. The family would have to adjust. Money isn't everything. Dominique's family would fill the emptiness. If there were children her family's hearts would soften out of a desire to accept the grandchildren. There were no offspring with Pierre. Following the dictates of the heart is where the drama begins. The heart is the seat of emotions. These things are very much in my consciousness as I try to navigate this life.
