Man's Best Friend; a Love Story Between Human and Beast

Story time everybody!

There once was a man called "Man." Man was a hairy fella and he crouched when he walked mimicking an ape, using his knuckles to propel him briskly and efficiently out in the wild.

One day Man was running around the woods, covered in mud as he ravaged the wilderness to find his purpose in life, survival.

"Woman", Man's wife was back home in her cave, preparing some berries and fresh greens she'd harvested earlier that day. She looked outside and darkness was coming as the sun threatened to leave for the day before Man had come home.

With a hint of concern, woman let out a howl into the wind, hoping Man would hear her and come home.

Man was on a mission, so consumed with filling this loud, powerful voice inside him that he didn't notice the time.

Before he knew it, the sun had made it's way under the horizon and darkness had taken over the sky.

Man started to breathe heavily as he anxiously looked around the blackened trees. Night time was when the hunting happened.

Thrashing around in the fallen leaves and branches lining the forest floor, Man heard many night creatures preparing for their dinners.

Realizing that he had gone off track on his journey, he looked around and couldn't find anything familiar. Panic started to sweep over him as he searched the area for any signs of the way he came.

Just then, he heard a harrowing sound-- panting. It was close-- too close for comfort.

Just then something wet and slimey fell onto Man's bare shoulders and when he turned around he saw black fur.

Man did not scream, nor cry, nor run in fear. See, Man was in tune with nature and he knew that fear would not serve him.

He took a deep breathe, calmed his mind and reached out to the creature, showing he meant no harm.

To his delight, the furry being let out a whimper and pushed his fur into Man's hand. Man recognized this as a sign of affection and began to pet the creature just as he would someone in his tribe.

The furry animal began to lick Man profusely, nudging his snout into Man's big hands.

After a little while, Man remembered he needed to get back home as Woman would be worried.

As Man got up and began to walk away, the animal followed, shoving his head into Man's hand over and over again.

The animal followed Man all the way to the cave and when he arrived and Woman approached he jumped up and smothered her with big wet licks!

The furry animal whom they realized was a lonely wolf, moved into with them and they all lived happily ever after in respect and compassion. The end! 💓

So many people say they love animals! Animals are so cute! Animals are their friends! They like animals more than people!

BUT why do we love only SOME animals and eat others?

**Why did the wolf get to stay in the house and become the best friend and the pig became the bacon?

Animals are all equal and have feelings just the same whether it be a cat or a tiger, a lamb or a hamster... We should treat all animals fairly.

One can't be a best friend while the other is breakfast. That's just as crazy as saying men have rights and women don't.
