This is how I I veganised Spag bog, I know there are a few people who do not like tofu, but if you cook it right it is quite good to eat.
I have posted this method before but here I go again, the trick is to change the texture by frying it in a nonstick pan until it is crispy.
Then a quarter cup liquid smoke.
And a quarter cup of soy sause.
A pinch of ground coriander and smoked paprika.
Keep on stirring until all the liquid is absorbed and it is brown and crispy again.
While I was doing that I made the tomato sauce. Lightly oil pan and in goes onions and garlic.
A pinch of salt and pepper, and dried basil, oh and some water, just a little.
Then tomatoes pasta.
I add the tofu on top of the meal right at the end when I dish up, that way it stays crunchy and tasty, and different textures are achieved at the same time, just awesome.
This all took the same time as cooking the spaghetti, about 20 minutes from scratch, it is really quick and easy, best of all my daughter loves it, so no twisting her arm to eat it.
