How to Create Animation Loading By Using GIMP

In this tutorial, I will create a simple loading animation. The results of this animation you can later use and can be downloaded here: download

Step By Step :

1. Open the GIMP app first, then open the worksheet, open a new layer with a white background (CTRL + N), I use a 250x40 pixel size. Because Animation Loading is small.
   

2. Create a new layer of the same size.
   

3. Then create a box, select "Rectangle Select Tool". Then give the basic color by right click select "Edit" - "Fill with FG Color".
   

4. Select "Select by Color Tool", select the box, then copy (Ctrl + C), then paste (Ctrl + V).
   

5. Then right-click on the layer copy box, then select "To New Layer".
   

6. Do the same thing as step 4 & 5.
   

7. Then select "Move Tool" to adjust the position of the box.
   

8. Color the boxes as you wish. I chose the Green color (60d925).
   

9. Then right-click on the background layer, then select "Delete Layer".
   

10. Last step, press "Filter" - "Animation" - "Spinning Globe". Then press "ok".
    

11. Wait for the process to finish.
    

12. To play an animation choose "Filter" - "Animation" - "Playback".
    

13. Finish.
