STEEM-COMPARE Update - Sorting/Ranking Users + Extras

Steem-compare is a tool that allows you to compare multiple steem accounts simultaneously.

I started working on steem-compare last week and I’m excited to be able to bring you the first update. A couple people thought this feature would be useful so I thought I'd add this first.

Sorting/Ranking

Who doesn’t want to compare their account with all these people with the crazy amount of steem-power 🙈. For now, I added the ability to be able to compare users on six metrics, reputation, effective SP, account value, post count, followers and account age, I think these are the most useful,

I decided to use MixItUp for sorting. I started building it from scratch (like I always do), realising I am re-inventing the wheel again I reached for the popular library. With MixItUp I also got animations for free, although I’m not sure I’ll keep them in.

Another library that needs a notable mention, Moment js a great library for manipulating times/dates in Javascript.

Design facelift

I want to keep the design minimal and out of the way but I did make a few adjustments. Most notable along with the hero section I’ve improved the responsive styles. The site should now flow better on smaller screens and have up to five columns on xl screens.
