logo proposal for the open source application MAPS.ME, inspired by the signs of highway identification in order to give the route or map approach and leave the everyday, inserts in a circle to give the appearance of an icon.

Benefits / Improvements

A custom design is made for the application in a vector format so that it can be used in different sizes, the map scheme that characterizes the application with a more modern approach and under Google Design is maintained

        Your contribution cannot be approved because it does not follow the Utopian Rules.

        HARD rules broken:

        • A contribution must contain ...benefits of your work to the project owner. - the signs of highway is not quite approppiate for this app, plus the color of your logo is off to far from the existing logo ant the overal scheme off the app itself. You said you are using google design approach (material design?), but its not well implemented to your logo. check here for material design guide. also the some elements is not consistent like the thicknes of the lines is not the same and your logo didn't work really well in B&W

        • Tray to make it simple and if the app has strong color scheme, follow that color scheme.
