Welcome to this week’s Youtube Steemit Ambassador Contest

Every week I use the Youtube API to collect data about people promoting Steemit on their Youtube Channel. I use Steemit as the search keyword in the API and I return the top 150 videos for the week along with the channel, view count, likes, dislikes and comment count.

The date range for this week’s contest were videos published between 11th and 17th Jan.

To be entered into the contest and win 100 Whaleshares all you have to do is post a video on Youtube that promotes Steemit in a positive way. All videos that appear in the API search result will be eligible to win. I will contact the winners on Youtube and on Steemit, along with an announcement post here on steemit.

Although we have the same number of channels posting videos each week wow, look at the total views on this week to last week. 44K views compared to 9K. That’s massive exposure. Think of it this way, there are only about 50K active Steemit users now!

Steemit YouTube Ambassador Week #3 Winner

To select a winner, I first look at the data, then I watch the videos to ensure that the sentiment is positive and I also read the comments. Last week we gave 100 whaleshares to The Do It Yourself World aka @thediyworld and the week before we gave 100 whaleshare to @davidpakman

With one video and a reach of 6907 views and 414 likes with 113 comments and a positive video about steemit, the winner is
