Simple Video Download Helper
This is a chrome extension to help download videos from some video sites.
As Google does not allow Youtube download in the extension, I have to cut down lots of features in the original plugin. So here is the simplified version (mini) that supports some common video sites.

This chrome extension is also bilingual.
This plugin is currently pending review and should appear in Google Webstore soon.
Clone the project, open your Chrome, type in chrome://extesions and load unpacked extensions, choose the folder.
Hi @justyy, it looks like your project is at https://github.com/DoctorLai/VideoDownloadHelper but the github repository you linked to for this post is https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl. Can you please update the post to point to the correct repo and also add a more detailed description and more screenshots about the project?
Hi @yabapmatt yes I kinda noticed that but the problem is that Utopian was not able to pick up the correct repo that I just created. and where can I modify the post? I couldn't find it on utopian. Thanks.
I see your repo show up in Utopian now, so maybe it just took some time since it was so new. Good question about how to update it to a new repo, I'm not sure about that. @elear any thoughts here? Worst case you could make a new submission I guess.
