I see the PO has acknowledged this report. I was able to reproduce the same behavior. The app crashed when I played songs from a playlist. The logcat you provided is useful and should help the PO in identifying the cause of the crash.
The write is good and was easy to read through, the steps especially. I look forward to your next report.
