Understanding Methods (return type - char) in Java using Eclipse IDE

In this tutorial, you will learn the following:

  • Methods(char return Type)

You would need the following inorder to following this tutorial:

  • An Integrated Development Environment(IDE) installed that can run Java (e.g Netbeans, Eclipse)
  • JDK 1.X installed on your Pc
  • Of course, willingness to learn

  • Intermediate

Description

This is a continuation of the Method series. A simple application to receive a particular score from the user and display the appropriate Grade is developed.
The method takes in the score as the argument and then returns a char datatype as the result.
A char datatype is used to take in alphabets (i.e 'A', 'B') as explained in the video
