What is the project about?

DIY a IOT(Internet of Thing) system ,which can allow to remote control the LEDs by a Web interface

Technology Stack

The project consists of three parts:

• ESP8266 firmware development

  The ESP8266 is a small chip which includes a MCU as well as the wireless module .By connecting to the TCP server , it makes possibility to remote control the MCU through the Web UI

  

• TCP server development

  TCP server serves as the bridge which connects the MCU and the Web UI

  

• Web UI

  Web UI is a interface that vividly shows the control of the MCU

Roadmap

Now , it can realize to control the simply LEDS remotely .

In the future ,the control system will become more powerful

• Add sensors and LED states uploading to Web UI and show by chart
• Add a login system to become more practical
• Focusing more on UI design
• Connect to the Home appliance with using relay module
