I started the Steem white paper translation because I think that this project is innovative and very useful. Since there is not an italian version yet, I believe that translating the Steem white paper in Italian allows the Steem project to reach more and more Italian people since currently, the number of active italian users are approximately 1000.

I would like to underline that in translating the Steem white paper, some english words like Steem, Steem Power, vesting, feed, stakeholder, Proof of Work, CEO, mining, sybil attaks and others will remain the same.

Furthermore, some sentences will be translated with more appropriate italian words that can give more sense to the white paper's italian version.

Translation Overview

In the first paragraph translated this time we talk about micropayments and tips and of the fact that Steem bypasses micropayments completely.
Who supports micropayments thinks that a simplified implementation can minimize the intrusiveness of them, but this is not really true because, the only transactions that users can approve without thinking are those who cost them nothing.
Steem’s users who vote for the content do not pay and they decide who should be paid: the cost of reward is paid via new tokens.

In the second paragraph we can find insights about the value of the links.
The links are so important that without them, Internet would lose the majority of its value. For example, without links, the only information Google would have is word frequency.
Furthermore, connections between users who vote and comment in a social network are very important because the more connections it has, the more valuable the information becomes.

In the other two paragraphs it is explained that, as you maybe already know, getting into the cryptocurrency is not easy.
A currency that is difficult to use and to sell has a little value.
Furthermore, to register yourself in an exchange you have to create an account, perform KYC (know your customer) validation and pay fees.
Fortunately, merchants give to users a quick way to convert their cryptocurrency into tangible goods and services.
