Yes, the Steem price tends to drive everything else in terms of user metrics. The amount of Steem distributed each month is the same though so it's actually as good a time as any to pick up rewards, assuming people believe the price will recover.

I think that you ranked highest overall in both moderator comments and contributions by small amounts but when I combine the two the gap is larger as few users rank highly in both. A good month's work!
