A few days ago, @armia93 asked me if I could decode a bot that would tweet all new resteems coming from a particular account. I really like the idea and immediately start working on it. After experiencing many technical problems that made me grow slowly enough, I am finally ready to announce my new creations to you. This bot is called Tweem and if you are used to sharing your Steem activities on Twitter, it might save you time while also making the process of promoting Steem on Twitter simpler.
What is Tweem?
Tweem is a bot that filters out new Stech blockchain operations and detects new posts and resteems that come from a specific set of accounts. The posts are then shared on Twitter, you do not even need to lift your finger! You should use this bot yourself, see the instructions available on the GitHub page to learn more about it. You can see in the picture below an example of a tweet that is automatically sent by the bot when I redeem a post made by @armia93. Relevant post data is included in the tweet, the title, the tag and the link to read it in its entirety.

Configure Tweem as you like!
Everyone has their own preferences, that's why Tweem aims to be as much as possible configured. You can change the nodes used, the accounts to watch out for, how to mention and tags handled, what to include in the tweets ... Of course, if you just want to tweet a new post or just a new one, you can do that too. The bot configuration is done with a file called config.json, this file is described in great detail on this project's GitHub page. Do not worry if you do not know what it is JSON, it's not complicated to understand. However, if you get lost, you can contact me on Discord (RagePeanut # 8078) or directly under one of my posts.
Choose a link type to authorize!
When a post is published in Steem blockchain, it is more often than not intended to be read with the same application as it originated. Even between Steemit and Busy, some posts change completely to a point that does not even look the same (eg Steemit - Busy). That's why Tweem looks for the apps from which the post was published and created a link to its website if it supports post views. For that to happen though, the app should be known by the bot, otherwise it will connect to Steemit. You can disable the "smart" links site by site in the config.json file, this link is then no longer redirected to website posts originating from but to Steemit. Here is a complete list of websites known by bots and that support postings.
