Approved @cokkon thank you for sharing this great post with us so the final conclusion is : do not wait for a good curation unless you are very lucky to win the lottery ;).

Hey @thegoldenphoenix, I just gave you a tip for your hard work on moderation. Upvote this comment to support the utopian moderators and increase your future rewards!

Well the maths is beyond me, but as you've included a fair deal of explanatory text I'm with you and this agrees with my thinking which was only previously based on what I am seeing people receive in rewards.

I'll have to add this post to my league next week, or maybe just cut out the conclusions!

Great stuff, and thanks for the mention!

Yeah, that was probably a bit heavy stuff, but the conclusions are hopefully clear :)
Thanks for the resteem!

Very clear, no problem 😁

This is a really good breakdown of how the curation works. I had considered myself to be reasonably good at curation but you're on a whole new level. Thanks!

Thanks @buggedout! But knowing the theory doesn't make a good curator in practice ;)
Thanks for the resteem!

Thanks for this usefull post. For the comments, what's the correct time to vote, that permits to have best curation rewards?

The best time is typically between 20 and 30 minutes, but the exact time depends on various factors. Take a look into my previous post "Curation rewards you could have had" if you're interested in details!

Thanks for the answer. I follow you 😉

I'm writing a post for the italian community and I will mention yours. I hope it can be useful.

Nice analysis about the curation and different levels in that.

Well, I think it takes time and experience to understand every aspects of curation, but these kind of articles will provide us with much of the information related to those.

Great reading, thanks for sharing.

Have a nice day :)

Thank you @coolguy123!

you are welcome @crokkon, nice to know about you and the analysis details you share.

According to your calculations there is no sense to vote for the post after Curie or some powerful paid voting bots, right? You will give reward to its author but will not get curation reward for yourself.

If you're small compared to curie or others and vote after a big voter it's unlikely that you get curation rewards unless there are lot's of even larger votes after you. The value of your vote is then distributed between the author and the earlier voters. If your vote is in the order of curie's vote and you expect large votes after you, it might still give you curation rewards.

Thanks for the detailed post about the curation. There are many posts on this topic, in each I find something useful. What do you think about curation in the comments?

Thanks for your comment! Curation of comments is actually a very interesting topic and I think there's not much written about this. There are way less votes on comments than on posts, so one one hand the chance to be first is higher but on the other hand there's also a higher risk of being the only voter at the end.

his voting is amazing I really like, wow his followers too much.
