Seeing as this was acknowledged by the P.O as valid and being worked on, it doesn't really matter how I reproduced it, but indeed I could see this erroneous behavior when I logged in with my user.

It's not critical per se, but indeed important at this point in the product life cycle for it to be addressed. I would suggest you give the team there some more feedback regarding the on-boarding process for their platform, I think it would prove to be quite valuable, especially with your expertise.
