Must agree very much on this... I still am a minnow and and still feel the need of every little upvote, but this feeling kind of goes away whenever i get a massive upvote from a whale... Of course this are very rare yet, but i am sure i will get a stable upvote rate with the time and soon or later i wont be needing to upvote my self, at least thats my goal... Helping newbies to grow have showed to be the best thing we can do in Steemit, i now receive upvotes from users i helped when they just arrived, and now they have enough SP to give a significant vote... This will be even more notorious in the future, when more people gets enough SP, so we ultimately will get back all the help we give now... Also making Steemit profitable and attracting to new people is so important, we need new people to stay around and enjoy, and there is no better way to do that than giving them your upvote... The more people stay in steemit, the more the community will grow and also the value of steem, with high steem value more people will get attracted to the platform and our content will be seen by more people... We all win...
