Glory to God: Feast of the Blessed Mama Mary (Lourdes).

Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful day and glory to God! Just this early morning at 5am, we attended mass in honor of the feast of the Blessed Mama Mary (Lourdes). Every 11th day of February is the celebration of this miraculous mother told by Bernadette Soubirous on 1858, in Lourdes, France.

I am a devotee of Mama Mary for about 10 years. It all started when my husband dreamt about that Mama Mary wanted him to build a grotto. Since during this time he was hired as a permanent teacher at Babag National High School. The construction of the grotto started when he got his first salary. When it was finished we also bought the image of Blessed Mama Mary Lourdes. From then on, we as family offers prayer everyday since it is already part of our belief and leaving our struggles to her.

My mother in- law is a devotee as well. Last 2012, she was operated in her colon tumor successfully. From then on, she promised to Mama Mary that she will be having a novena and fiesta celebration every February 11. She believes that nothing is impossible with Mama Mary because she is healed and live up to this day.

Realizations: A mother is always be a mother. Even if we are sinners, we are forgiven, loved and provided. The goodness she has to us deserves an undying love and be thankful in everything she does for us.
