Trust is the feeling of having confidence or being secured in a person

I will like to start by saying that when trust is broken it will take time to be rebuilt or can never be rebuilt. This is so because the issues of trust is an issue that has to deal with deep feelings in the heart.

Many today have lost trust in their friends, family and relations. They live all alone with their pains and burdens because they once trusted people but their trust were betrayed and trodden under feet. Many have also died because they bore too many pains due to lack of trust in others. Many families today are in shambles because the wife or husband betrayed the trust. Great businesses have being closed down because there was a break in the trust level.

But then the big question comes to you and I, have we not betrayed the trust of others? Have we not broken the hearts of those who trusted in us not to disappoint them? How well have we secured the trust they entrusted to us?

What of that friend that told you all of his or her weaknesses and today you are using it against them?. Have not we being the reason why people don't trust others again because we once almost killed them due to lack of trust in us?

Are we truly trustworthy?

Let's think deeper and tell ourselves the truth so that we don't hurt more people with this attitude of betraying the trust of others. People confiding in us should not be a means of we killing that person. If your purpose of sharing that person's story to others is not intended for help then keep it to yourself and don't tell others.

Let's help each other by being true and sincere to our words. Stop hurting the emotions of people. Thank you.
