#ulog 48 No Gadget

Hi Uloggers and eSteemians,

Class is suspended today on all levels in anticipation of the super typhoon Mangkhut or what we named locally as Ompong. The news about the typhoon had been the talk of the town eversince it got spotted on the sea. We never had any rain today though which is good and I am hoping this typhoon will never get to hit the land.

The kids all three of them are here today because of the class suspension. Practically my day is filled. It feels like weekend minus the homework. I took a photo of them while they were busy playing with their toys. It is very seldom now that they get to play with these kind of toys because somehow their preference is kind of changing now as they grow older. They have nothing else to do or keep them busy because there is no homework for this day. I imposed a policy recently. No cellphone no gadget no internet on weekdays. They are only allowed to do so from Friday to Sunday.

I thought it will difficult to implement such policy here at home but I am glad the boys are obedient enough to adhere to this policy. No violent reactions at all. I felt good on that very first day that they obliged with no hesitation. Today they just played with regular toys and had a good bonding moment with their youngest brother who is so into this kind of toys. I am happy to see the cooperation from the two older boys. I can say that I can count on them to look after their youngest brother and guide him if needed.
