So far I haven't gotten real deep, down and dirty yet. I'm usually a pretty vulnerable and authentic woman, yet I have been holding back a bit on STEEM for some reason. If you have known me from facebook, you'll know I hold very little inside. I've caught shit time and time again through the decade I've been on there for being too much. I say it how it is...
Maybe I finally realized that no one cares about my problems. Maybe because I've only been here for under 2 years and don't know that many people yet, that I censor myself a bit. I don't know...I do know that I'm a #hotmess of extreme proportions. I've been holding it all in lately and I think it may be causing me some health issues.
I'm still not ready to unleash my darnkess on you all. I am going to stick to the light side for now...Cats & Bees!

Edgar made the mistake of jumping up on my lap this morning as I was on the computer, so an impromptu photo shoot with laptop is the only answer to that behaviour. She is one unimpressed Edgar...

I'm still waiting for her kittens to be born, should be any time now. If I put my hand on her tummy I can feel them moving around, it's SO AWESOME! Probably what prompted me to change my profile photo to one of me with baby Stryder. I'm all maternal now and nothing and no one can stop me! Mua hahahhaaa!!

It's definitely awesome to go outside and hear the sounds of summer, mainly buzzing coming from our apple tree. I even saw a hummingbird there today but didn't have my camera.
No matter how sad or imbalanced I get, all it takes is some time outside with nature to feel relief. Nature is my antidepressant! Beauty feeds my Soul...

I think there are certain people who stay on FB because they don't (for whatever reason) create, our feel like they create, original content. They share others' content, without comment. Ergo, making a blog of their own doesn't appeal, or even intimidates them. I use FB and Steem very differently, which speaks to how FB is a very different function. Ykwim?
Absolutely I know what you mean, soon a more fb like app will run on the blockchain and people will be all over it!
Maybe Ulog will actually be the place for me...facebook has gone south as far as I am concerned. Happy pictures of happy people..Not..since I know their real ass story most of the time. Dont like the expectations to copy and paste. blah blah blah. Not sure anyone really cares about our problems 100% of the time, we all got them, but I will listen to yours, that way I can forget about mine. World is fucking full of them. When I think what a mess it is in. I sit on my deck and live in a bubble. That works for me. Anyhow..spring is for sure here and busting to get out. Which is how I feel. mostly like I want to friggin scream sometimes. I really want to stop doing and just sit by the ocean. maybe eat cake at the ocean. Still nursing my poor piriformis. are you having the kittens or is Edgar? Feeling maybe like you need to be a mommy again? That somehow never leaves me. Other than that I would rather be here then in Hawaii with the Volcanoe. xx much love

Edgar and I are sharing the experience haha, I don't know if she's consenting or not, but I'm nosing my way in there regardless. She seems to really like me a lot so I don't think she'll want to hiss at me if I come near her babies, but we'll see...

We all have two sides Lyndsay, when we first met on TSŪ, I loved hearing your political ravings, And it's good that you have very strong beliefs and feelings. But sometimes we need a break from the world. I have been away from FB for over 3 weeks now. And it feels good not to be involved with all that political shit, i was reading everyday, getting uptight because frankly people just weren't listening or plain didn't care.
I made myself sit and think about other ways to change people's minds and consequently the world, that is increasing becoming more violent. Its on going but I am becoming more positive that things can change. Mother Nature has given us a place to live and the tools to use. We just have to hold her hand more than we do. Mum knows best. 💜

Yes, Yes, Yes. 3 times. Mum always knows best, yes the world can change and it has gotten more violent, and I decided to hide in Seabright and rest my weary soul just awhile, too tired to try and change people, my community, my city, town, province, country and the world. So.............in hindsight and reflection the best way is one small step towards mankind each and every day. Just a little at a time. I also burned the soapbox. xx
