ULOG DAY 34: "OUR MODERN TRANSIT"

in #ulog6 years ago

For many centuries ago, people in the past thought that we lived in a small world because they reached the place by walking. For short, there were no vehicles. These days, there are many ways to travel. If we like to avoid the traffic, there are above transportations. If we like to reach our destination through the air, there is an air travel. There are many kinds of vehicles that can run in different areas.

Today, my sister talked about her first ride of a cable car. This vehicle runs through the cable without motor and engine. Aside from being an environment-friendly car, this is an accessible way to prevent traveling on the ground and we will be amused by the views below.

During the 18th century, the primitive people started to combine their energy to the wind and animals to load himself and his belongings. He knew that using a horse is very helpful in the land and to the shallow water travel. In the water, he discovered that he can cross the river and the ocean through the wind. A horse can run faster, the wind can voyage smoothly. After then, they learned that the power of steam is also a beneficiary. The change of transportation began and our descendants knew that the earth is wide.

The Beginning of Railways
The Scottish James Watt discovered the economical advantage of the steam engine used for the steam road carriages. Later, the steam locomotives developed by Richard Trevithick. The mine owners neglected steam locomotives as it cannot pull the coal-carts than using the horses.

Time passed by, the invention of the railway trains came out. The approved train to get its passengers moved in Stockton. It further happened in Darlington Railway way back in 1825. Gorge Stephenson who was prominent on his primary rocket invention appeared in 1829 is the one that built such locomotives.

When people often choose the railways, they neglected the Stage-coaches and great wagons. Only a few used the roads 'coz they often picked the flexibility of the railway trains.

Today, instead of using the steam-engines, as our world has progressively evolved, we use the diesel and electric engines. However, railways are still existing especially when the traffic in the land is heavy.

Steamships
Not just to the land transportation that had changed by the steam, it also developed and was used to the water transport. Way back in the 18th century, the new steamboats were constructed. 1819 was the year when the American steamship developed that voyaged the Atlantic ocean. Ships earlier were made of woods that they transformed into iron and later steels to make sure that the transport is long-lasting.

In the later 1870, passengers rode the leading deluxe ships invented in an expanded form.

These days, the ships can run through the maintenance of radar and computers along the other automated devices. They also use nuclear power.

Steam Carriages and Motor Cars
Faster than a horse, steam carriages improved in its speed since 1800. It became the most pre-eminent vehicle who received a lot of critics from different vehicle companies because they were threatened.

Later, the American and German inventors study the gas and liquid fuels. In a report, two German guys namely Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz produced cars that used petroleum engines. America's petrol-powered car happened in 1893 by Charles Duryea. Later, many types of vehicles came out but the wheels were as stared as the bicycle, but only rich people can afford. Henry Ford was disturbed to find out that only rich people can buy this type of the car, so he created a cheaper car where ordinary people can buy that was the Model T Ford produced in 1908. As expected, it was the best seller car in 1912. Henry Ford designed this vehicle in an uncomplicated idea and not troublesome to fix. It can travel 64 kilometers in one hour.

Transport Above and Below Ground
When the transit progressed slowly n 1800s, there were newly released of transportations that drove publicly. The horses have drawn Omnibus can be found in London, but they never survived as the community grows rapidly. Because of that, they presented a plan to make railroads underground. The passengers experienced the first subterrene travel on the railway back in 1863 happened in London. As it runs, it also provides specks of dirt as it used the coal for the steam-engine. The tunnel becomes a stain. However, its demand continued that even the New York city initiated in which they began to build their aerial "subway."

At the end of the century, the electric route trams appeared that moves in rails. Then, passengers encountered the prime riding on rubber tyres. Vehicle's name is Trolleybus. But then, this sort of carrier was replaced by buses. Later, coaches were widespread.

Motorways and Traffics
In our period today, different types of vehicles are regularly available. The past transportation was developed before we were born that makes us lucky to be in this generation. As our society increases the way the vehicles are, every country is constructing more motorways and underground pathways. Bridges are also amplified to reach the place faster than before. In this way, we can likewise avoid the traffic. As the discovery of vehicles is accelerated, aside from increasing the traffic, it also increases the pollution.
