The World Vision For Education and Development (WVED) Cameroon had a mentors' meeting to share updates on various projects and programs we were running for this year and also the new programs which we were going to incorporate into our calendar. The director Mme Helvecia Takwe introduced the new program "Peace and Sustainability" that will be part of our curriculum henceforth. The WVED kids are to be drilled and trained on peace and sustainability so that they can be active in bringing about peace in situations around them that warrants the need. It promises to be a great program especially with the conditiin of things in cameroon. The kids will know just how they can support or the role they can play in bringing peace to our nation and the World in general.

After the meeting that took about 3 hours, my fellow mentor Roy and i were asked to arrange some items in the library while the ladies were making lunch. The WVED library is quite filled with so many books that the kids sign at will and read. Our task was not a difficult one at all and we quickly rounded up with things just in time for me to take a proper look 9f things in the library. I started with the books ranging from educational, motivational, short stories etc. I also passed through the annual WVED curriculum and Roy and i who are responsible for mentoring the boys at WVED quickly did a run down of Saturday's LitClub activities and the mew Peace program that was added. Roy will handle the LitClub activities while i handle the Peace activities.

So this Saturday seems to be one of fun again with the kids at WVED. The air in the atmosphere when you are around the kids, playing, teaching them and having fun with them is one of sheer delight and i look forward to such moments and opportunities. Plus i am working with people i consider family and that really makes you feel at home and free to do things your own way if you understand what i mean.

That was it for my day and after we finished our work in the library, we c alled to the table to have our lunch which we did as one happy family and that was the end of the day.
