#ULOG 870 - Daily Thoughts - 28 Oct 19 - Homesteading Today...
Good Morning, Steemians! :D
The cow babies enjoyed staying dry in the barn last night, but they were happy to get back outside this morning. :D There isn’t much happening here on the homestead today, hopefully it’ll be uneventful, and we can just relax and enjoy a quiet day. :D
Our pretty piglets heading out to play in the muddy mess that is their pen after the heavy rain we had all night. :D
Poor Princess played with a porcupine this morning and has the quills in her nose to prove it. :D
I’m so glad our handsome grand-puppy Tiny didn’t climb the fence and join Princess while she played with the porcupine, he thought about it though. :D
My handsome husband burning some burdock plants. :D
Our pretty puppy mom Karma hanging with her lovely daughter Lady and handsome son Shadow on the steps/front porch while our dapper puppy dad Dakota hunts around in the front yard. :D
My handsome husband only managed to get one quill out of Princess’s nose so far, there’s no way to hold her after he got that first one out, she didn’t let him near her again after that, not even for oats. :D
No sunshine for us here today, but no rain either, so that’s good. :D
I forgot my phone/camera when my handsome husband and I went out to do the evening chores, so I missed out on the chance to get the herd on video trying to “sneak” into the barn for some oats. :D It was so cute, it didn’t work though, they only go in on bad weather nights or when the temperature drops down, neither of those applied tonight so outside they stayed. :D This was them after Princess had the quill removed and ran away and we’d gotten the rest of the herd back where they belonged after their short escape this morning. :D
