ULOG: Work dignifies us

The work of sewing is beautiful, and it feels even more if done with love. If it is our passion, there will be no discouragement for everything to be done with dedication and commitment.

Sewing is part of my life. Whoever works should think about doing it because it is something that nourishes and fills the soul. He who does not think about working, really wastes his time. When they have lived for so many years, it is known that work dignifies and improves man, in body, mind and spirit.

One must do what he loves with the soul, what he likes most, not what others want. For this and more, I tell you that if you are happy with your work do not let it go, but if on the contrary you live with bitterness, leave it.

For me, the art of sewing is how the chef lives from the kitchen, his own art, as the teacher teaches, this is how it is for me. The art of sewing is stronger than anything else, and when I can do it I feel happy.

Day after day, since I learned what sewing is, when I have a space to do it again, I do not doubt it, as long as my body allows it.

At my age, now 61, my bones, my back and my being are in a difficult condition, but nothing stops me, because I know I can.
