Ulog #3: Cooking for my kids
Hello steemit friends. When I woke up this morning, I did my daily routine as usual. Then in the afternoon. I decided to cook pancit miki for my kids. Instead of using the common noodles which is the bihon, I used miki noodles. Miki is similar to egg noodles and they are sold fresh in the market. For this pansit that I cooked, It's just the simple one coz I did not put any meat in it just shrimps. It's tastier for me.
Ingredients:
Garlic
Onion
Sliced cabbage
Sliced carrots
Sliced baguio beans
Fresh shrimps
Soy seasoning
Procedure:
- Add some oil in the cooking pan. Put the garlic followed by the onion then shrimps and stir fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add the vegetables (carrots, cabbage, baguio beans). Then add a little soy seasoning.
3.Stir and cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Then add the miki noodles and mixed it together with the vegetables. Stir cook for 3-5 minutes.
- You can also add chicken cubes if you like. Here is my finished product.
My kids enjoyed what I cooked for them. Cooking for my family is one of the things that I love to do. Because this is the moment when we sit down, talk, bond and spend time with them. Family time is the best!
