#Ulog Day51- Sept 17, 2018" Dates cake recipe"

A blessed Monday morning to all #steemian. My friend gives me this and we called this fruits as dates. Dates are the fruit of the date palm tree which is grown in any tropical regions of the world. You can eat dates either fresh or dried. Dates are chewy with a sweet flavor. They are also high in some important nutrients and have a variety of advantages and uses. Dates give many health benefits to our body. I ate it dried and fresh, and since she gave me much so I bake a cake name "food for the gods" it is very yummy and delicious and healthy snack and it so easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1cup pitted dates
1cup chopped walnuts
1cup brown sugar
1cup softened butter
Pinch of baking soda
2 eggs

Procedure
1)Line your square pan with wax paper
2)Combine eggs, sugar mix well using hand mixer.
3)Add butter mix well
4)Add flour and baking soda blend well
5)Add dates and walnuts mix well then your batter is ready pour in your baking pan.
6)Bake in a preheated oven 180c for 30mins then make a toothpick test, when the toothpick comes out clean its done.
7)Cool for 30 mins before cutting.
Serve with juice and enjoy your snacks.
