Endeavor - Parent Company of the UFC to go Public
In an interesting move Endeavor, the parent company of the UFC is planning an IPO in the hopes of raising $620 million. The stock is expected to be priced between $30-32 per share.
This is going to be an interesting move because being a public company will mean that more data and financials will have to be disclosed. I really hope this means that this will mean that the fighters will get better pay.
In the data released as a result of the fighters class action lawsuit it was disclosed that the UFC pays the lowest percentage of revenue per event to the fighters by a significant amount.
